About the Event

A special trip to the only museum of its kind in India, dedicated to Transport Heritage. Built over 90,000 square feet of covered area, this museum exhibits some rare artifacts, starting from Indus valley civilization transport toys to modern day vehicles. From trains to planes, this museum has got everything. A rare setup of its kinds, the Heritage Transport Museum is the brainchild of Mr. Tarun Thakral, who has very kindly agreed to give us a personal tour of his collection during our visit.

Post Museum visit, we shall proceed to the Hidden Archaeological Site of Taoru, comprising of several Tombs, Mosques and Caravan Sarai. It is situated on one corner of Tauru and it's high rise domes gives this small silent town a special skyline.
On our way back, we might be able to stop by the remains of the Fort of Sohna.

Trip Route:
We will book a bus/Tempo and start from Rajouri Garden at 8:30 and proceed to Dhaula Kuan. From there, we will turn towards Gurgaon and continue on NH8, until we reach the Bilaspur Road, that takes us to Tauru. We shall visit the museum on this road and post lunch, we will proceed to Tauru Tomb Complex.
